I’m a lady poet

I’ve a boyfriend and a bed

I break

Lines and scan erratically

It’s all

In what is said.

I catalogue my toilette

And how he looks

Out flat

And dirt in crevices

That re-appears

Just like that.

I write of food

That drips and dribbles

Bits of me

He strokes and nibbles

As befits a poetess;

Goddess living

The Tracy-dream

And Emin-ating mess.
