Hatred's Not A Crime

1. Hatred's not a crime,
It's as old as man himself,
It's as visceral as love.
Emotion, not a crime.

2. Call it race abuse or bullying,
Torture, murder, death.
Call it what it is, the act.
The action is the crime.

3. An action caused by wickedness,
Insanity, or worse?
A blindness or derangement,
Devoid of honest reason.
Call it what it is, a crime.
